How do adjustment layers work in PhotoAIA?
Add one from the Layers panel or the Adjust menu. It affects every layer beneath it, stays re-editable, and if a selection is active when you create it, that selection becomes its mask in the same step.
Using them
- Create from the Layers panel’s Adjustment picker.
- Double-click the layer to reopen its settings.
- Paint on its mask to confine or reveal the correction.
- Reorder to change what it affects.
Limitation
Adjustment layers are not written into PSD files as adjustment layers; their effect is baked into the flattened composite.
